Latest reviews of ANYPLAY app for iPhone and iPad
This is the best app of its kind on iTunes! I originally had an issue with crashing after loading a large number of files, but the developer had an update available in just a matter for days. I now have 18,000 files loaded on an iPhone 3G and it works flawlessly! Highly recommended app!
Needs a few things fixed: - easier way to get songs onto device - slow with many songs sometimes - slows down iOS when in the background
The fact that this app can handle so many formats is fantastic. However, Im already noticing a number of drawbacks from using it right away. Playback mode is very unsophisticated. You cant control tracks using iOS music controls. You cant create playlists. You can only view music by file type. Playback of short tracks can get "cut off" sometimes. If the program is running in the background, it will pause after reaching the end of the current track and not resume until you switch back over to the app. There is no ability to shuffle all tracks or somehow control playback in any nonlinear way. The developer of this app should take a look at the features in the NesMusic app and borrow some ideas from there. If these features were added and bugs fixed, I could call this app flawless and rate it 5 stars. In its current state, however, It leaves much to be desired.
